課程概述 |
本課程適合未學過華語者(或學習華語時數每週未達 6 小時，且總時數未達 100 小時者)選修，使用的教材為《實用視聽華語一》（第一課~第九課），盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course uses the textbook “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese I” (~chapter 9) to help students develop proficient language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing that would enable them to communicate effectively in their daily lives. Through the course, students will further understand Taiwanese culture and language. |

課程目標 |
1. 學會使用漢語拼音。
Learn to use Hanyu Pinyin.
2. 學會漢字的結構、筆順及寫法。
Understand the structure, stroke orders and writing method of Chinese characters.
3. 了解華語基本句型及語序、架構。
Understand basic Chinese sentence structure and word order.
4. 學會如何得體使用華語認識他人及介紹自我。
Capable of self-introduction and carrying on basic conversation. |

課程要求 |
1. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視為缺課一小時。
Attend the class on time, and don’t be late for class or leave earlier than scheduled. Be late or leave early for more than 20 minutes will be considered an absence of an hour.
2. 上課時不說英文或其他非中文語言。
Use Chinese exclusively in class. Other languages are not allowed.
3. 上課時不應該做如：寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程進行無關的事。需參與課堂活動，聽老師及同學的發言和討論。
Should not write homework or do other things that are not related to the course. It’s essential to participate in the classroom activity and class discussion.
4. 上課時不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品。
No cell phone, laptop and any electronic devices are allowed in class. （Electronic dictionary is permitted.）
5. 上課時可以喝水、喝飲料，但不能吃東西。
No food in class, but drinking water or soft drinks is allowed.
6. 按時繳交作業。遲交的作業不收。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
＊ 違反以上規定皆會影響學期成績。違反一次規定就扣平時表現成績一分。
You will lose one point of scores of Attendance and Performance each time for violation of class regulations. |

1. 上課需簽名，遲到、早退二十分鐘以上算缺課一小時。
You must sign in to every class. Be late or leave early for more than 20 minutes will be considered an absence of an hour.
2. 缺席一小時扣出席及課堂表現成績一分。課程表現也列入考量。
An absence of an hour will deduct 1 point from your Attendance and Performance score. Your participation and performance will also taken into consideration.
3. 若有事無法上課，請在上課前寫信至老師信箱請假。 Notify the instructor in advance if you are unable to attend the class. |

1. 每次上課（期中考及期末考除外）都有聽寫考試。遲到、請假或缺席，成績以零分記。
A dictation quiz will be given at every class (except when taking the review exam, the mid-term and the final exam). No make-up dictation quiz will be provided.
2. 每學期聽寫成績可以刪除三次不好的。
Three bad dictation scores can be crossed out each term.
3. 每課皆有複習考試，包含筆試及口試（兩課一次口試）。
Every lesson we have a review exam. No make-up dictation quiz will be provided.
